Griha Pravesh Muhurat in 2025- Griha Pravesh is a Hindu ceremony to purify and sanctify a new house. It serves the purpose of warding off negative energy and evil spirits while inviting positive vibes into the new dwelling. The ceremony consists of various phases or acts of worship, commencing from the construction phase of the house and culminating in the entry or ‘Pravesh’ into the new home.

- “Sapoorva”: This ceremony occurs when someone enters the house after returning from another country or a long journey.
- “Dwandwah”: Upon completion of renovations or reconstruction after calamities, individuals perform a Vastu Puja and Vastu Shanti Muhurat before moving into their homes.

Before Griha Pravesh, ensure the house is entirely constructed with a finished roof, windows, and doors. Wait for Vaastu puja before moving furniture in, break a coconut, and enter with the right foot first for wealth. Position the idol facing east, blow conch, boil milk for wealth, and purify with holy water and mango leaves. | After the puja, refrain from vacating the house for three days. Avoid performing the ritual following a recent death. Give guests at Griha Pravesh tokens of appreciation, such as silver coins, idols, or boxes of sweets. Do not leave the house unattended or locked during the night. |
